What are all the icons for?
and - Show Menu - Hover over these buttons to show a menu of options. The green button means there are sub-species available to open up.

- Show More Species - Will show a sampling of species under the chosen species.
- Hide Children - Closes all children of the chosen species.
- Focus - Show just the chosen species, and all its super-species and sub-species.
- Close - Closes the chosen species, and all its children.
- Thumbnails - Hover over to see a larger pop-up image, or click to go to the details screen.

What is the difference between and ?
- Shows a hierarchy of species
- Shows "sibling" species

What does the symbol mean?
It indicates that the given species is extinct, and so are any sub-species.

How do I save my tree? What does the #Tree link do?
To save your tree, right click on the #Tree link and choose to copy or bookmark that link. It will always take you back to that same tree.
This is sometimes called a "permalink" or "permanent link".

Why is there so much Latin?
The Latin is the scientific name, and is only shown when there is no other name available.
